Ceramic Dream
Ceramic Dream is a mirror frame/night light made of wood and tile. The light is touch activated when you make contact with the edge of the frame.
The inspiration behind this project was to work with a material I was not familiar with. I chose to explore tile. It was also my first time working with sensors and electronics in this context.
Process
I started by rendering the piece and figuring out the parts. I then had it cut by CNC, finished it, tiled it, and added the electronics and aluminum tape. This project was done over the course of 4 weeks.
